Frequently Asked Questions

How much do NAFA Now CE offerings cost? 
Offerings that are approved for class A credit are made available at a cost of $15. Offerings that are approved for class B credit are available at no cost. 

How long are the continuing education offerings? 

All offerings are a minimum of one hour in length. This time is based on actual run time of the audio and video portions as well as expected work time of the participant. Run time is listed on the description page of each offering. 

Are NAFA Now offerings approved by the AANA? 
All content available for class A credit has been previously approved by the AANA. 

How do I begin a NAFA Now CE offering? 
For no cost offerings click the enroll button under the offering name. This will add the offering to your My Learning page. You must be signed in to see the My Learning page and begin the course content. From the My Learning page click the view button to launch the offering. For offerings with a fee, click the add to cart button. Then click the my cart button at the top of the screen and complete the checkout process. Once the item is purchased it will added to your My Learning page. 

What is the difference between a Class A and Class B offering? 
Class A offerings can be completed for AANA approved class A credit. These offerings include a required assessment at the end. Participants must complete the assessment with a passing score of 80% or higher in order to earn credits. Class B offerings do not include an assessment. Class B offerings need to be self-reported in order to receive credits for the CE experience. 

What are the technical requirements for completing a NAFA Now CE offering?
Continuing Education offerings may be viewed on a network-connected PC, Mac, or tablet within an up to date web browser (Chrome/Firefox recommended). Participants need to have working speakers in order to hear the videos and presentation components. All content is viewed within the browser. Downloading for offline viewing is not available at this time.

Where can I find my certificates? 
Certificates for completed offerings can be found by visiting the My Learning page, then clicking the view certificate button below the desired title. The button will only appear once all required components of the title are completed. Certificates will always be accessible through the My Learning page once earned but may be printed as well. 

When will my credits appear on my NBCRNA transcript? 
Credits will be submitted to the NBCRNA within 5-10 business days from the successful completing of a class A credit experience. 

How long can I access content? 
Content is persistently available for review at any time by visiting your My Learning page. 

Where can I access the NAFA terms and conditions? 

Terms and conditions can be found at the bottom of the NAFA Now home page. 

What is the refund policy? 
Refunds will not be provided for the purchase of class A credit titles. Dissatisfaction with questions or failure to pass the assessment are not grounds for a refund. Technical issues with the assessment that prevent the user from completing the assessment successfully should be described in detail and may be considered grounds for an assessment retake or credit for a future title. All requests for retakes or credits must be submitted in writing to nafa@vcu.edu or by fax at (804) 828-0581.
